Through the joys, through the sadness and the love…. she was always on heavy repeat on my ipod, my computer, my music system (80s baby) and every form of musical apparatus you can think of. When I decided I was going to take voice lessons, I choose her song to sing, even my musical concerts in high school, I remember a touch of Mrs. Whitney Houston. Today she is gone, but her music lives on.
I will always remember “One moment in Time“, when I was trying to take things “step by step”. I often wished I had told you, “I will always love you”, but to my “greatest love of all” I found myself singing “heart break hotel”. And when things got really bad I thought “It’s not right but it’s ok”. Most days I just wanted to “run to you”, but I had to take a minute and just “exhale”, and now “I have nothing”. But “I am every woman” and I got to “try it on my own” . Although am “so emotional”, you are “all the man that I need” and I’ll still be “saving all my love for you“. “I learned from the best” and “My love is your love“…. I could go on like this forever, fare the well Whitney. Your music nourished and will continue to nourish my soul.

“I wanna dance with somedody” whom I would love as I loved you. We used to feel “so emotional” when listening to the “Queen of the night”. “Didn’t we almost have it all?” But “my name is not Susan” and you left my heart with a “million dollar bill”. Just like time, love vanishes in a minute and there’s no “miracle”. My love has gone and The voice has felt silent. “Where do broken hearts” go? “If I told you that” I loved you, would you have stayed? It hit me “all at once” but “I learned from the best”, I learned from you. Farewell my love, you have been “the greatest love of all” and “I will always love you”
